Here, we can see a conventional fixed racking system in an average sized warehouse. If the height of the warehouse is enough to provide 5 levels of pallet storage, then the capacity of this racking system would be 260 Pallets.

Surya's Storage System

For this system, we install rails sunk in the ground and flush to the flooring. On these rails, we mount a base trolley made with structural steel sections and provide a set of a gearbox and an electric motor. Also, state of the art safety equipment, sensors, limit switches, etc are installed. When this system is installed, we can see that the pallet capacity with same height is now, 440 Pallets.

Total increase in capacity = ( ( 440 - 260) / 260 ) x 100 = 69.23 %

This statistic does vary from space to space and goes on increasing as the size of the warehouse increases. The minimum increase in storage capacity observed is 50%.
